15 January 2006 After a longer travel across the desert of Atacama we arrive
the oasis village San Pedro de Atacama at the 13 of January. In the
beautiful but
unfortunately unfriendly Residencial Gorvatsch we find
for four nights a pretty double room. Yesterday we made a very
interesting and adventurous trip into the well-known Valle de la Luna.
Today we meet our friend Diana again, who we get to know in Ushuaia. On
17 January our journey continues across the 4200m
high Paso Jama across the mountains of the Andes to Salta in Argentina.
